AMERICAN MADNESS

"American Madness" is a deep-dive documentary into the history of Conspiracy Theories and an overview of the conspiracy culture that can take over people's lives and drive them to commit violent acts.

Richard McCaslin was a comic artist, a filmmaker, but also a deeply broken person obsessed with conspiracy theories that inspired him to take dangerous action in spite of the consequences, when he donned the costume of his super hero persona - "The Phantom Patriot” - infiltrated the secretive Bohemian Grove, and set it on fire.

Based upon the book "American Madness" by Tea Krulos, this documentary takes a journey from the Border Wall in Texas across America in a cautionary tale for the present time, where the internet spreads false stories so fast that our population no longer lives in a shared reality with one another.
